"I kinda want to look... like, want it look like they're all sitting round the outside of the table and eating rather than, um... like, jumping all over the table and stuff." |
— Stampy describing why he wants the hostile mobs to remain in place once they have dropped down. |
"Zombie Dinner Party" is the 63rd episode of Stampy's Lovely World. In this episode, Stampy builds a dining room for googlies to drop down into for Googlies Manor.
Plot[]
A finished waterfall, two-legged Stampy & a finished Googlies Manor interior thus far[]
Stampy opens the episode, and leaves onto his balcony as he comments that the view he currently has is oen of the most lovely he has ever had in one of his videos. Stamoy reminds his viewers that in the last video, he worked on a fountain so that the world around him would fit with his description of "lovely" so that he didn't have a simple mountain front of him, though thinks that it looks nice himself. Stampy decides he should show it in detail, giving his viewers a closer look. Stampy clarifies that in the present video, he will return back to Stampy's Funland and continue building Googlies Manor, which he thinks should be fun. Stampy goes to show the water fountain, thinking it looks awesome. Stampy shows that he has added vines, as well as lily pads so that he can jump across them when bored. He successfully jumps across all of them, and then points out the glowstone underneath, which is supposed to serve as a light source, with an additional torch. Stampy remarks the reason for why he made it in that he is trying to make his world more lovely.
Stampy then moves onto his Love Garden to add someone, adding "terror6586", who is also called "Ellen Zang", who he has been planning to add for sometime due to her consistent comments and has been intending to add her for many different reasons. The one he chose this time was one that was supposedly intended to make fun of him themed around whenever he picks a dog based on the idea that he can tell them apart, giving the example of "because it's got four legs", and she commented "And you can tell that it's Stampy 'cause he's got two legs :)". Stampy says that it made him laugh, and welcomes Ellen to his Love Garden. Returning back into his house to visit his doghouse, Stampy describes what his Love Garden is in that it is a garden of love for whenever he wants to give someone a shoutout or give them thanks, and they are in the Love Garden forever, allowing them to be seen at the beginning of every video. At the doghouse, Stampy decides to take Spring with him, who he characterises as the one jumping around in his pool. After picking Spring, he gives him a porkchop, and requests him to join him in the video.
Visiting his minecart track, Stampy describes Googlies Manor in concept in that it is supposed to be a ghost train-haunted house, where the player walks around the haunted house where the hostile mobs live, which he will work on in this video. In the video prior to the last video, Stampy was working on a ghost door, which is a door that constantly opens and closes, which he somewhat completed in the video.
Arriving at Stampy's Funland, Stampy says that he should be joined by EPIC BIG C, who he recalls should be around the area, though he doesn't see her, and hopes that she hasn't lagged out or something relevant. Stampy is assured that she is fine as he sees her gamretag through the walls of Googlies Manor, who is working on Googlies Manor already. Stampy shows the outside, knowing that most of his viewers will have already seen it, and enters inside to see the reception, finding that EPIC BIG C has added a bunk beds for two of them to sleep in. Stampy expresses that he is scared of sleeping on the top bunk due to being close to the ceiling, preferring the bottom bunk. Stampy walks into the finsihed living room, showing that he has added a gray sofa with stone slabs, as well as a cobblestone slab table, as well as some bookshelves, and the skeleton paintings. Stampy shows the ghost door, describing it as a door that opens and closes for eternity because it can easily be walked through.
Making a googlies dining room table[]
Stampy enters into the next room, which he plans to make into a dining room so he can have a traditional dining room, but will include glass containers made out of glass panes as well as holes in the ceiling so that hostile mobs will drop down behind the glass, making it look like they are eating a meal. Stampy decides to use spruce wood to take advantage of the building wall, and plans out the basic size, thinking it should be bigger than the living room, and extends the room out five blocks from the living room to be parralel with the reception. Additionally, since the viewer will already hear them, Stampy points out the presence of hostile mobs above the ceiling in the roof, which are present due to the lack of torches, which will serve as the mob spawner, hoping that simply adding a hole will cause them to fall through and into the seats. Additionally, this means that the player can hear scary sounds as they walk through, hoping it will be cool, though there will be more dramatic elements later like jumpscares involving pressure plate tricks. For now, he will set the mood and will make things spooky. Adding down torches, Stampy clarifies that he is adding them so that his viewers can see.
Stampy starts to build a table, deciding to make it out of fences and pressure plates so the hostile mobs are unable to jump onto the table in question, wanting it to look like they're on the table. Stampy wonders the table manners of a hostile mobs, presuming creepers to imagine them running around the house crazily. Stampy starts to build the table's fences, making it three blocks away from each side and making it three wide, and considers adding stone pressure plates, as well as making the table have a space of three the whole way around. Stampy then adds the ending wall, thinking EPIC BIG C to assist him in doing so, surprised that she did manage to do so. The reason for this is that, though his helpers usually have to guess all of Stampy's action, he and EPIC BIG C consulted each other on the basic design of the dining room and should be focused on the main goal for the room's design. Stampy also finds that he needs to add a ceiling for all of the hostile mobs to drop down from, deciding he should worry about that issue later, wanting to complete his table instead.
Stampy goes to craft some stone pressure plates, recalling himself to still be inexperienced with crafting, and then crafts multiple pressure plates, creating 30. Stampy also equips his sword in advance in the event of a hostile mob attacking him, and starts adding the stone pressure plates on top of the fences, thinking the appearance is cool. Stampy starts adding a ceiling, hoping EPIC BIG C understands eventually. Stampy decides on the height of the ceiling, comparing the height he decided and finding them to be the same. Stampy wonders if it will be too high for the hostile mobs above if he raises it, and decides to raise it up to make it appear grander than the other rooms. Stampy consdiers alternating between stone bricks to test it, and then finds it to be bad decision, instead deciding to fill the entierty of it with the same material. Stampy fills part of the ceiling as he clarifies that the house is supposed to appear old and wooden, thinking it to be fine, and can change it if he doesn't like it. Continuing on the table, Stampy clarifies the purpose of the house in that it isn't supposed to be a house that a visitor will want to own, and finds that he has an excuse for his bad design decisions, meaning he can tell someone who criticises the room to be horrible that it is justified due to it being made for the game's hostile mobs.
Surrounding the table with glass[]
Stampy finished the table, finding that he had built the correct amount to fill the table, surprising him since he never usually gets everything correct. Stampy then visits the crafting table to craft some stone seats, due to the excess of wood in general, deciding on stone brick stairs since he doesn't believe even a creeper should suffer cobblestone furniture. Stampy surrounds the table with evenly-spaced furniture, though they won't be completely parralel due to the uneven dimensions of his table, and decides on what he has. Stampy gives EPIC BIG C some more wood to fill in the ceiling upon finding her to not have anymore, her temporarily being unable to see it at first glance due to being behind a chair, and then decides on encains the table and chairs in glass.
Stampy wonders how he should encase it since the hostile mobs may take advantage of the stairs, doing it with glass panes rather than full blocks so it doesn't take so much room, and expresses fear over the sound of a zombie growling. He wonders that if he surrounds the entire structure in glass panes, deciding to build up so it looks appealing, considering simply allowing the hostile mobs to wander around. However, he wants for people to be safe than in danger, and also for creepers to not blow anything up since he had just built it up. Stampy hopes that it appears that the hostile mobs are simply eating as the rider walks through the house, and wonders if he should add glass panes on the table, though he is unsure if the hostile mobs can get onto the table. Stampy runs out of glass panes, realising how much it took, though he still has some normal glass blocks in hand. Walking back to the entrance, Stampy decides to shut the door of Googlies Manor due to the presence of the night, as he is fine with the hostile mobs above him, but doesn't want them walking around through the door, though he thinks they will due to it supposedly being their home.
After crafting glass panes, Stampy continues adding the glass panes, and notices EPIC BIG C's absence, unsure where, speculating that she may have gone to sleep. Stampy clarifies why he doesn't sleep in that there isn't any reason, since he is inside and should be safe. Stampy realises that he is inside the glass, and finds that he shouldn't trap himself. In his attempt to place them, Stampy complains about how awkward they are to place along with iron bars, though there are some people who use them for detail. Unlike those people, Stampy struggles with them, usually placing them incorrectly, with his own video being an example. Stampy wonders if he should add the parts in-between the chairs, and wonders if he shouldn't add them depdending on their usefulness. Stampy states that he is excited to release the hostile mobs, and discovers that he will be able to trap EPIC BIG C inside the glass chamber, and will release her later on, thoug she escapes anway. Stampy at first decides he should have EPIC BIG C finish the glass panes on the edge of the dining room table, only to realise that working above will cause the hostile mobs to spawn in the first place.
Stampy decides he should just fill in the glass panes himself instead of delegating the labour to EPIC BIG C, and finds that he is somewhat improving on his speed. Stampy builds the glass panes precisely, complaining about how it's awkward to add them on top of one another, and comes to a method of sliding across as he places the glass panes down. Nearly completing the table, Stampy says that he will eventually be able to release the hostile mobs after the monotonous placement of the glass panes, and expresses that his only worry is that creepers may blow up if edging too close to the glass, which he hopes won't happen.
Releasing the googlies into the dining room[]
Stampy finally finishes building up the glass, entrapping himself, and then he decides to drop some porkchops onto the table, as well as some rotten flesh. Due to this, he now has the opportunity to travel upstairs to the spawning area, expecting events to become dangerous since he is intentionally spawning hostile mobs, and will take caution. Now at the top of the room, Stampy starts adding a wall as well as some torches, the former to shield the hostile mobs and the latter to prevent them from spawning beforehand. Stampy clarifies that he will eventually add an upstairs area to Googlies Manor, planning for some form of bedroom so it isn't a ride where the player walks through three rooms only. Additionally, since it is where the hostile mobs will be spawning, Stampy decides he should add the holes to the seats from below, and he and EPIC BIG C release the hostile mobs spawning in the ceiling, scared by a spider he suddely sees. He also hears a creeper, rapidly telling EPIC BIG C to follow him out, which she eventually does, and he proceeds to block off the room above. Additionally, since the room's dark, hostile mobs will appear anyway.
Stampy starts adding the holes to the ceiling for the hostile mobs to fall down from, aligning them with the seats, and considers adding them one in, hoping that they will fall down into the seats from above. In the event of them never dropping down, he and EPIC BIG C will add more holes in the ceiling of the roof to allow them to drop down more frequently, though he doesn't want to, and he expresses the fear that a creeper was going to drop down onto him while building the spawning area. Stampy adds the final layer, and is confirmed that the holes are in the correct position. Additionally, he sees that EPIC BIG C is continuing to add the glass, and doesn't want to block her inside.
Stampy and EPIC BIG C complete the glass container, and he questions why none of the hostile mobs have fallen through at all, confusing him, and he considers adding more holes to the top, as well as adding a door to serve as an access point, not having a crafting table to do so, and hen breaks in through the spawning area to create larger holes. A spider falls through, and he kills it out of shock, remarking that they are bigger than the other hostile mobs, meaning they won't fall through the holes, though he doesn't think it is of matter anyway since they are likely better off in the attic either way. Seeing an absence of them, Stampy questions where all of the hostile mobs are, having spent the entire video hearing them only for none of them to appear when deciding to release them from above. Stampy wonders if the stairs allowing light to sear through is causing the hostile mobs not to spawn, and then sees a zombie, which falls down. Due to Spring being present, Stampy doesn't want to punch it to knock it into the holes, and then tells Spring to sit down in urgency. Stampy admires the fact that he now has a hostile mob as he decides to remove the stone in its entirety, intending to dash away upon seeing a creeper. Stampy wonders why more aren't spawning, planning to fill in the gaps causing light to appear and adding full stone, thinking that a glitch causes the light.
Once he has broken open the hole as much as he can, Stampy hopes more hostile mobs will spawn once he returns back down due to distance, and then checks the vacant roof space for the presence of more hostile mobs. Stampy can only hear the zombie underneath him, and then verifies that the light appearing through the stairs is the true cause of the hostile mobs being prevented from spawning.
After, Stampy descends down and picks up Spring, and then returns back down to check if the hostile mob dinner will work as planned, and he sees the zombie from before. Stampy revises the general plan of the dining room, expecting a player to walk through, having it appear as hostile mobs surrounding the table just the same way the zombie is, and tells his viewers to imagine the other hostile mobs, and he decides he should give the zombie present some food, such as a spider eye, and throws it through the glass. Stampy also expresses potential decoration plans, such as paintings, around the room, and then concludes what he has currently done, and that he will guarantee the possibility of more hostile mobs spawning upon blocking out the light through the roof. Stampy then ends the episode with the line "So that's the end of this video, though. Thank you very much for watching, and, I'll see you later. Byeeee!"
