"Nonono, Bread Stick, don't— Auughh, no! He's just getting rid of the ones that I'm placing! Bread Stick, do it the way I'm doing it! [laughs] Oh, it's-it's my own fault for doing these-these commentaries where-where they can't hear... Oh, noo, he-he keeps—! Augh, this-this is actually just making it harder than it otherwise would've been." |
— Stampy when x Bread Stick doesn't act according to the given pattern for the dome detail for his theatre's roof. |
"Working On My Theatre" is the 34th episode of Stampy's Lovely World. In this episode, Stampy works on the redstone and roof of his theatre on-screen for the first time, the latter with x Bread Stick, and then travels over to his crazy golf course.
Plot[]
A creeper mishap & shoutouts[]
Stampy opens the episode in his bedroom, proceeded with x Bread Stick entering into his bedroom and destroying a random sign by the doorway to the balcony. Stampy analyses his skin and wonders what it is supposed to be, confused, commenting that the character may come from some obscure game that everyone else loves and he doesn't know of. Stampy goes to leave his bedroom, welcoming his viewers to a Let's Play episode, and he announces that he will update his theatre in the episode, which he usually doesn't do as he usually adds to the theatre off-screen and updates on-screen instead. He plans to play in his crazy golf course afterwards with x Bread Stick. Stampy is interrupted by the appearance of a creeper in the entrance to the Love Garden, warning x Bread Stick, and he attempts to find a way to approach the issue. Stampy advises him only to hit it if he knows it won't be led to blow up, and then sees him having successfully bypassed it. Stampy, still in the Love Garden, attempts to approach it himself as it is lodged up against the front of the Love Garden, only for x Bread Stick to knock the creeper into the Love Garden, causing it to blow up, much to Stampy's dismay. Stampy scolds x Bread Stick for his irresponsibility, and then checks the damage. He sees the note block for the mob trap, giving context as to what exactly it is, calling out how much of a mess there is, though he proclaims himself to have not completed the job any better.
Stampy moves onto his Love Garden to update it, explaining the basic rule of it in that it is supposed to be somewhere where he adds users who make comments or messages that make him laugh, and he gives them a shoutout. Stampy plans to add two people to his Love Garden this time around, though he is unsure of where to add them. He decides to add them where the creeper blew up, apologising for who he is replacing, and adds "Trinabeaner", who he is adding for allowing someone else into his Love Garden, who was her sister, and said sister wrote Stampy to add her sister to his Love Garden too, and he decided to comply with their request. Stampy immediately regrets his decision in that he should've added the name to the sign with her sister's name, Binzerlu, as it would've made more sense. Stampy accepts it and decides to move it over later. Stampy also adds another person, who added five comments in a row, and though he doesn't typically add those who spam, he decided to in this case as they were clearly a fan, called "HipRhombus786". Stampy also adds that they wrote a message saying "I love you", which he thought was cute, and he returns the statement in the virtue that he is watching the video. Additionally, Stampy apologises for typing slowly as he is reading off his distant screen.
Leaving the Love Garden, Stampy sees a sign written by x Bread Stick about a creeper explosion happening twice at the current point. Stampy recalls it to be true, as there was an explosion caused by a creeper in the theatre lobby, wondering if he should even allow x Bread Stick into his world anymore.
Working on the theatre redstone[]
Stampy travels up to the top of the theatre lobby where the redstone is via the ticket booth to announce his plans for the episode in that he will attempt to refine the redstone lights in front of the theatre, notably for the fifth time, and after LONG bow X99, x Bread Stick, and his own efforts, the lights continue to fail. Stampy decides instead to use a minecart system for the theatre lights instead of what his other helpers decided to use, having some detector rails created in advance. The detector rails send a redstone signal if the minecart travels over them, and if they are laid out in a row, the minecart will turn on and off depending on which one it travels over, meaning that if it moves rapidly, it will emulate flashing. Stampy is unsure of it will work, as he only had a draft created outside of his theatre's front to test how detector rails work due to never using them, and he expresses the belief that it doesn't work. Stampy attempts to connect the detector rails up at the corner, only to find that they don't turn. He attempts to force it to go to the corner, only for him to find out that the detector rail not being able to turn only causes it to travel straight onward.
Stampy is annoyed by the inconvenience, and he regrets not testing out the theatre lights system prior to the episode instead. Stampy wonders instead if he should use a straight line with the minecart going back and forth, using the logic of collision to make it bounce back and forth, deciding it might look better, and he replaces the normal tracks with detector rails. Stampy, hearing the sound of his dog barking in the background, is reminded that he brought Oreo, a suggested dog name, with him for the episode, deciding it was a cool dog name. Stampy also plans to check on Gregory Jr. once he has reached the crazy golf course since he has been left there due to his role as an obstacle. Stampy decides on his method for testing, and questions whether or not it will work. Stampy finds that it just stops at the wall at the end, much to his disappointment, and he needs the minecart to curve around instead. Stampy decides to ignore the end torches, allowing them to remain enabled, as he could add them as normal torches which can be constantly lit, allowing the minecart to loop. Stampy adds a power rail to the middle of the rail as it curves around on the other side so it maintains speed, and goes to test if it works.
Stampy finds that the track is moving around, and then decides to add some an extra power rail to one end to add some more velocity to the minecart. Stampy apologises to his viewers for if they use his videos as a guide, as he isn't doing the redstone in the most effective method, and is unsure on a better method. Afer positioning the minecart on the track and finalising the trakc, he goes to check from the outside to verify his work. Stampy sees the redstone from the outside, and is ecstatic to find that the redstone had worked as planned, commenting it to be "alright", though the redstone torches on each end are up for debate.
Working on the theatre roof[]
With the redstone finished, Stampy moves onto the roof by climbing up onto it, reminding his viewers of a plan he had for a dome. Stampy shows the theatre finally has a ceiling, with an open hole in the middle, and he explains the basic pattern in that he will add sandstone and wooden planks, having decided to use obsidian initially. Stampy is nearly pushed down by Oreo, who, seeing him as a hindrance, Stampy decides to sit down in advance to prevent him from losing another dog. x Bread Stick had seen Stampy attempt to break some sandstone he placed in the incorrect location, having only planned for the done to be raised above the interior ceiling, and threw him a stone pickae for efficiency, and he continues wrapping around the sandstone design on the first row, stating that obsidian looked too "bold and distinctive" to be used as the main material. Notably, the sandstone Stampy is wrapping adds the corners, while x Bread Stick, under the impression that the corners aren't going to be added, decides to skip the corners instead. Stampy explains that the pattern he decided on fits with the theatre's style better than obsidian even though it's what a majority of his house is made out of.
Finishing the first row and trying to correct x Bread Stick on the pattern, Stampy moves onto the second row with wooden planks, trying to fill in the corners that x Bread Stick missed. Due to the wooden planks x Bread Stick is placing above, he has an issue placing down one of the blocks underneath to fill in the corner, relieved when he finally does, and then continues the wooden planks. Stampy also explains that he will plan to add a dome as well as a chandelier made out of fences and glowstone in the middle of the room. Stampy sees x Bread Stick's motive for building in the manner that he is, thinking it looks better as one row rather than having two blocks added inwards, as it turns to night, Stampy thinking it looks better with that design, and thinks it appears too pointy to be appealing the way x Bread Stick is doing it. Stampy finds x Bread Stick removing the blocks from the intended pattern, much to Stampy's annoyance, and he continues to do so. Though Stampy tells him not to, he is aware that he can't be heard anyway, annoyed that he keeps using the pattern he wants to instead of the pattern Stampy is intended to.
Completing the second row, Stampy accepts it anyway, as he didn't particularly plan prior to the episode as to his plans for the theatre building. Stampy revises again that he will plan to travel over to the crazy golf course to show the next hole, haivng built a doghouse-themed hole in the previous episode, which he has now finished, as well as having added another hole called "Cobblestone Castle". Stampy is annoyed by the inconvenience and confusion of the roof due to x Bread Stick's designing issues, as he has to fix it all by himself. He attempts to get his helper's attention, telling him how to actually design the roof, only for him to be forcibly pushed down into the theatre roof, which Stampy finds hilarious as he realises he will fall out with x Bread Stick due to artistic differences.
Stampy gathers some dirt blocks x Bread Stick dropped him to climb back up again, though he will use the ladder on the side instead, and decides he should leave the dome alone as it will take forever if the two of them keep batling over. Stampy understands the two differences in methods, and wonders why x Bread Stick didn't realise that Stampy wanted the pattern in the way he was building it. Stampy decides to just accept it, hoping x Bread Stick understands. However, Stampy realises x Bread Stick was punched by him, so Oreo may come to target him eventually. Stampy decides on a different method of instructing x Bread Stick, shaking his head for the incorrect pattern and nodding his head for the correct pattern. Unsure of if x Bread Stick understood, Stampy decides that he did as he comments that he likes Minecraft sign language. Stampy creates some torches to prevent mobs from spawning, and then continues building as the third row is finished.
By the fourth row, Stampy worries the pattern is messed up as it is asymmetrical, and checks if it is, correcting it. Stampy had tested before with obsidian, thinking it looked appealing with the shape, though he decided not to save it. Stampy sees the final shape, and finds it to be asymmetrical, and instead gives up on the roof to travel over to the golf course as x Bread Stick fills in the very top. Standing Oreo up, Stampy worries he may target x Bread Stick, finding that he actually isn't, and then goes to his house to sleep to have fun at the golf course, planning to fix the roof off-camera.
Stampy climbs down, and expresses worry that hostile mobs may appear due to the events of the previous episode. Stampy hopes his helper has noticed that the two of them have to sleep, questioning if there is anything to update on. Stampy goes to his bed to indicate to x Bread Stick that the two of them have to sleep, and he sees him having understood the hint. Stampy sees him enter through the Love Garden, and gives a promotion for YouTube creators for Minecraft in that he wishes to play survival maps, especially with creative mode nearly being added to the game.
Visiting the crazy golf course for some golf[]
After sleeping, Stampy recommends that Minecraft creators can send him any map with their gamertag as well as the map type, and he will check out the map and make a video on it, as though he likes creating things in Minecraft for himself, he prefers to explore things that other people have done as well as participate in player vs. player games. Stampy sees a sheep upon exiting from his house and goes to dye it red to shear it since he wants to make a red curtain for his theatre, as well as a red carpet for the actors. Stampy, finding the lighthouse to be a similarity, questions why he is so obsessed with red wool as he enters into his general minecart station to travel to the crazy golf course, seeing x Bread Stick already inside of it, proceeded by him traveling off.
Stampy follows behind, questioning if he has seen the golf course before, though he knows he has seen the golf course itself. However, he hasn't seen the new holes yet, though Stampy hasn't played them himself and therefore is unaware of the par. In the middle point of the minecart station, Stampy sees x Bread Stick take control of the situation and forcibly place down a minecart, interfering with Stampy's personal attempt to travel over, much to his annoyance. Stampy tells Oreo to catch up with him, and says that he loves the name for a dog, wondering if it was someone's own dog, though he as completely forgotten as it was recommended months before. Stampy commends his viewer for the suggestion, and is then bounced back by x Bread Stick, who is now in the wizard skin, desperate to leave his own minecart as he returns back through his tunnel.
Desperate to leave immediately before traveling off into the distance, Stampy accidentally hits Oreo, and excessive apologises to him, and gives him some porkchops to heal him, and follows him out to the opposite end of the hill, seeing Oreo, who has now turn up his nose up at him. Stampy scolds Oreo for his behaviour, saying that there isn't a cat around to feed the stray dogs around the area, and then enters into the crazy golf course. Stampy shows the names he has added to the golf course holes, the first being called "Noob Alley", since if the player fails at it, they are a noob. The second hole is called "The Dip", the third hole called "Doghouse", with a sign saying "Gregory Jr." Stampy shows the completed design, showing where he sits, though he is cursed to eternally sitting there. Stampy shows the fourth and final hole in the game called "Cobblestone Castle", though he as to add a piece of black wool at the beginning for consistency.
However, there is one issue with the hole in that there is a redstone clock leading to a piston for it to repeatedly shift a block up and down. After restarting it and blocking up the hole, Stampy shows that it repeatedly opens and closes a hole that the player has to time correctly in order to successfully throw it into the hole. Stampy gathers x Bread Stick to the hole, planning to play with him, saying he isn't sure of the par for "Cobblestone Castle". However, Stampy sees that Gregory Jr., or who he assumes is Gregory Jr., stood up from his position, and has gone to kill x Bread Stick inconveniencing the miniature tournament due to Gregory Jr. also not being the obstacle. With x Bread Stick dead, Stampy returns Gregory Jr. to his post, accidentally hitting him with a snowball in an attempt to sit him down. Successfully sitting down one of the dogs presumed to be Gregory Jr., Stampy slides them along the ice and onto the post, commetning that his dog seems ferocious due to his actions of forcing him to sit in one particular area as an obstacle for a golf course.
Stampy decides that the dog is in the middle of the square, and then moves over to the first hole, obviously being able to succeed at it by the first try. Moving onto the second hole, Stampy throws the ball onto the yellow square, and upon the second throw, the ball falls just short of the hole, and he desperately attempts to get the ball into the hole by blowing it. Stampy attempts to compensate for not getting the ball in the hole, missing the second time he attempts to get it in. Stampy manages to get the ball in by the fourth throw, shaming himself for being cocky about his successful throws, saying that the miniature holes always trip the player up. In the third hole, Stampy throws the hole through the doghouse, and then throws the ball over Gregory Jr., successfully catching it in the hole at the end. Stampy them oves onto the fourth and final hole called "Cobblestone Castle", which is a par 3, though it might be capable of doing so in a hole-in-one. Stampy manages to throw it in successfully, though unsure at first, and then praises his efforts, leaving the hole to see x Bread Stick having returned.
Stampy apologises to x Bread Stick for being late due to being murdered by one of his dogs and they can't play it together, deciding to end the episode, though x Bread Stick can't hear him. In the next episode, Stampy plans to update his theatre, and is nearly finished with it, informing his viewers to stay tuned for his first production in the theatre, which he plans to be "Stampy and the Magic Porkchop", which he realises he should start writing. Stampy then ends the episode with the line, "That's the end of this video. I wanna thank you very much for watching, and I will see you all later. Goodbyee!" as he randomly throws a ball to the second hole's edge.
