"I haven't built very much of it, though. I've kind of just been taking... coming late and taking all their supplies." |
— Stampy about his contribution to Crimcity. |
"Visiting Crimcity" is the third episode of Stampy's Lovely World, and the first of three successive episodes that are filmed in Crimcity instead of Stampy's Lovely World. In this episode, Stampy begins touring Crimson Azoth's first Minecraft world, Crimcity.
Plot[]
Stampy opens the video near a tree farm in Crimson Azoth's community world, called Crimcity. Crimson Azoth (also called Craig) is giving Stampy a tour of the world, which he has joined somewhat late. Stampy first sees the tree farm and the greenhouse, before Craig shows him the world's Nether portal, a portal surrounded by fire and built into the side of a chiseled hill.
Then, Craig leads Stampy to the main house, a large house with many rooms. They did not have a room for Stampy, so he teases the fact that he has constructed his own house somewhere else in the world. Despite this, Stampy has his own corner with a bed in Crimson Azoth's room.
Craig continues to show Stampy the house. They go into Nutrat's room, which has an arrow dispenser trap behind one of its doors, as well as a Jacuzzi; Kyle's room, with a secret treehouse inside, though not in a natural tree; and Dan's room, which Stampy says is empty because Dan, a miner, has no time for decorations.
Downstairs, Craig and Stampy enter the library, and Stampy is fascinated by the decorative couch, made by stairs with signs on the side. The next room is the entrance to the mine, and beyond that is a store room with many labeled chests. Finally, the pair reach the crafting room, which contains many crafting tables and furnaces. Stampy retrieves some glass he had been smelting in that room.
Stampy then enters the mine, riding a minecart track going deep underground. Once Stampy reaches mine level, he shows that there are many tunnels that branch off the central minecart tunnel, illustrating just how much of the world has been mined. In fact, the mine is so large and the minecart so fast that the chunks struggle to load in. When Stampy reaches the end of the mine at the edge of the world, though, he accidentally pushes his minecart back and is stuck.
As Stampy waits for Craig to come save him, he describes how he was coming up with ideas for a treehouse and an underwater minecart tunnel while at work. He also mentions he has found a good place in his own world to build a house, as well as a place to shout out subscribers. At this point, Stampy loses connection, and skips ahead in the video to when he has joined back in.
Stampy is finally saved by Craig, and rides the minecart back to the entrance within the Crimcity house. Shocked at how much Craig has mined, he mentions how Craig is one of the top 300 players to have broken the most blocks in Minecraft. After leaving the mine, Craig and Stampy sleep. The morning after, Craig briefly shows Stampy the "death room" where trespassing googlies are trapped, as well as a naturally generated, almost symmetrical lava pot that led Craig and his friends to build Crimcity near it. Stampy, now overlooking Crimcity, also makes sure to mention that Crimcity is built where a mountain once was.
The two then pass by an animal farm and a pier, before heading to Stampy's Treehouse, under construction. The treehouse is on an island that is artificially, heavily forested. The treehouse has no ceiling yet, but has an amazing view of Crimcity, which Stampy says looks even better at night. Natural trees grow into and around the treehouse, and Stampy has built the structure of the treehouse around those trees.
Stampy immediately gets to work continuing construction, and puts a trapdoor at the entrance of the treehouse. After flapping it a few times with Craig popping above the door, Stampy punches and accidentally kills Craig. Once Craig respawns and arrives back at the treehouse, Stampy decides to unsuccessfully get rid of the trapdoor, and nearly kills Craig again.
While building some walls, Stampy mentions how he is inspired by Minecraft YouTubers like Silly Solomon or LewisBlogsGaming (who he accidentally calls "LewisGamingBlogs"). Then, he builds a staircase to the future roof, and it becomes night, but because they are within trees there is nothing for them to worry about. After making some mistakes with the roof, Stampy decides to end the video, and signs off with a scenic nighttime view of Crimcity and a thank you to the viewers of his "smaller channel."
