"Stampy's Hot Buns" is the 91st episode of Stampy's Lovely World. In this episode, Stampy and his helpers continue building Stampy's Hot Buns, and then he hosts a round of his sheep-shearing mini-game dubbed "Shear Fun" against L for Leeeee x, Afro Dan91 and Rand0m T4ylor.
Plot[]
Ceiling drop, Invincible the dog & two non-invincible dogs[]
Stampy opens the episode, noting that he is having another "weird day", since he encountered a night without Moon, and will have a day without a Sun, though he doesn't mind as he won't get it in his eyes while building. He proceeds to introduce the others who will join him, introducing Afro Dan91 and Rand0m T4ylor, both dropping down through an open hole in the ceiling of his bedroom, as well as L for Leeeee x, who does the same before blocking it back up again, with the former two playing a note block and L for Leeeee x giving Stampy a cake, which he leads him to consider the introduction to the episode a quality introduction, due to a Mission Impossible-style entrance, music, cake, and a snowball fight, as well as that he likes to be joined by his friends, at which point iBallisticSquid also joins in the game, hoping to see him eventually.
Stampy proceeds to his Love Garden, only to be blocked by a skeleton upon the entry point, scaring him, and L for Leeeee x and Rand0m T4yor kill the skeleton with their weapons together, which he admires, then stating that he didn't expect a skeleton to appear. Stampy then gives a shoutout to "Thomas Andrews", because he wrote a comment reading "Name a dog invincible, so when it dies, it will be ironic", which he found to be hilarious, as well as that it says "when" rather than "if", him being aware that his management of dogs isn't the best out of all the Minecraft players existing currently. Regarding them, Stampy walks off of his farm on the staircase leading down to the front of the doghouse, noting Stampy's Hot Buns in the distance with drama, accidentally hitting L for Leeeee x while pointing and accidentally causing Sparky to target him. Stampy assures Sparky that he only hit him accidentally, and he proceeds to continue attacking him by jumping after him while sat down, requesting L for Leeeee x to control him, needing to stay distant from him. Stampy attempts to assure Sparky that he doesn't have an issue with him, only for him to continue, causing Stampy to realise that he needs a dog for himself.
Speaking of which, upon arriving at the doghouse, Stampy realises that all of his dogs have been removed from his doghouse again, as he mentions many times before, since there are only two of them. Stampy notes the only present dogs as Oreo and Barnaby, picking up the latter and wondering where all of his dogs could be, though he knows some of them are spread elsewhere around his world or have died, but none of them have died since Arrow. Stampy thinks that he should go on a hunt to find them, and then greets iBallisticSquid in front of him, asking him if he is going to put a sign on his bakery reading "Squid's Hot Buns". Stampy then shows the exterior design of Stampy's Hot Buns as it is now, only to be interrupted by Sparky jumping to him again, and he ends up making contact with Barnaby, leading Stampy to need to discipline Barnaby by telling him not to fight. In his attempt to feed him, Stampy accidentally causes Barnaby to fall down into the pool within Googlies Island by standing him up, constantly telling him to sit down. Eventually, he succeeds, telling him and Sparky and make friends with one another. Seemingly, the dogs seem docile once again, and Stampy is suddenly bombarded by the sight of ink sacs and fish dropping down in front of him, finding the source to be iBallisticSquid. Seeing Sparky stood up, Stampy does the same for Barnaby, offering L for Leeeeeee x keeps Sparky on a lead, recommending the fishing rod be used as one to discipline him.
Progress on Stampy's Hot Buns & the main farm[]
Back on the top, Stampy shows what Stampy's Hot Buns looks as it does in its current state, thinking it looks cool, though it doesn't look too much like a cake except from the side where it looks the most like a cake, which was his target appearance, and he will finish the entire interior as much as possible before heading to Stampy's Funland to play on his sheep-shearing game, which he has decided to call "Shear Fun", as when he played it in the previous episode, there were only three people, said people kept lagging out, and one of the sheep was killed, and will have a more official game to make it more fun. Now inside, Stampy starts filling in the floor of Stampy's Hot Buns deciding on a checkered pattern of snow and glowstone, leaving the responsibility of doing so to L for Leeeeee x. He has decided on the material choice as he wants the bakery to be colourful, having previously decided on a wooden floor, only to conclude it to be boring.
Stampy ventures outside of the front door of Stampy's Hot Buns to start building the back garden, crafting a crafting table to craft fences, explaining the plan for the garden in that everything necessary to make a cake and bread are present, needing sugar cane, a cow, wheat, and chickens. Stampy starts building out fences from the back by nine, continuing also that the bakery can be self-sufficient and not require imported materials, thinking it would also look cool. Running out of fences, Stampy proceeds to craft fences and a fence gate, planning to get a cow to come all the way over to the bakery afterwards, adding a fence gate so it's possible to enter through the back as well as a back door to lead into the kitchen. Adding the fence gate entrance, Stampy expresses his eagerness to complete Stampy's Hot Buns, wanting to have it set up so he can have seats to make it a cafeteria so people can enter the bakery and he can bake them cakes. Stampy is reminded that he actually needs employees, implying to his helpers, proposing they try to bake him something so he can assign an "employee of the month" sign to them.
Back at his farm, Stampy intends to gather a cow from his animal farm, breeding them in advance to gain a spare cow, as well as some chickens, thinking to simply sporadically throw eggs. Stampy gives the two cows wheat so they breed and make a spare cow, and asks which of the cows want to be an employee. Stampy realises that the cows won't follow him, having forgotten that animals don't follow upon being bred for at least five minutes. Stampy asks them to follow him again, only to find that they aren't interested him at all and are in fact surrounding their baby and following it, to which he comments that he likes animal families in Minecraft. Finding the cows don't want to follow him anymore, Stampy gives his helpers the issue of the cows and tells them to find a cow and lure it to the garden instead, regretting having bred two of them already. In regards to chickens, however, Stampy can easily give himself them, finding a wide selection of eggs in his chicken coop. Additionally, Stampy also requires sugar cane to gather from his farm so it can be grown to make sugar, hearing Barnaby get hurt by the cacti and warning him not to.
With the necessary and obtainable resources gathered, Stampy returns back as he says that he hopes to make the first cake in Stampy's Hot Buns, though he considers it an ambitious statement due to how slowly he is working, but will attempt it anyway. Stampy also realises that he needs water for the wheat, and then comments on his connection issues due to L for Leeeee x having lagged out, criticising Xbox Live, since it also happened in the previous episode, having no idea what's going on and proposing the console editions also have servers so it can be more like the PC edition. Stampy prefers the Xbox version over PC, though mostly due to his friends being on Xbox and it is what he's used to, but it practically never lags on PC, which Stampy finds to be of quality.
Back at his garden, Stampy starts on the wheat farm, digging out the trench for water, replacing the underneath with dirt due to being stone underneath with his pickaxe, and then plans to fill the trench with water. While digging, Stampy finds iron and coal ore to his interest, considering mining and then gathering the iron, explaining that one side is going to be made out of sugar cane and the other will be wheat. After filling in the sides of the hole he dug to gather the iron with dirt and listing the remaining necessities for the farm, Barnaby suddenly jumps in with him as he is about to build upwards, telling him that they are trapped together due to him being unable to place a block down for them to escape from. Stampy tells Barnaby to jump so he can place it, considering against interacting with blocks to break them as he may accidentally attack Barnaby. Stampy breaks one of the stone blocks nearby to create a stair case which he uses to return back to the surface, and then proceeds to fill in the floor of the water with dirt. Stampy decides instead to run away from where Barnaby is in the hopes that he may teleport to him so he can tell him to sit down. Barnaby ends up not following Stampy at all, and Stampy even tries to use "dog language" to lure him over. However, to no avail, Stampy concludes Barnaby to simply be scared due to all of his dog friends being missing. Stampy lures Barnaby out of the pit, and sits him down as he promises to search for them in the next episode, and hopefully find them.
After filling in the ground with dirt, Stampy starts to fill in the trench with water, though he won't be able to even it out as of yet. Stampy adds the sugar cane on the side of the water closest to the path, and then has to cultivate the land, going to search for his crafting table, pointing out how he has to make multiple crafting tables as he can't be bothered to walk to one. After crafting a wooden hoe, Stampy is attacked by Rand0m T4ylor from behind who tells him he has a hoe already, having cultivated the land, also requesting one of his helpers give him seeds to plant. What with Barnaby attacking him now, Stampy wonders about his attitude and warns Rand0m T4ylor not to approach Stampy upon attacking him, as well as not to do so in order to get his attention, instead jumping in front of him. On the back of Stampy's Hot Buns, Stampy thinks to add a back door in the middle, revealing to him what his helpers have committed to the interior, which he admires the progress of, pointing out the counter area additionally.
Stampy announces that he has run out of time in building Stampy's Hot Buns, preparing a chicken, assuring his viewers that it has just about been completed, deciding he and his helper should go to Stampy's Funland to play Shear Fun before the end of the episode, having a real game without lag issues, offering his helpers to enter as urgently as they can, wanting to show the mini-game for a final time. Suddenly, Stampy sees a chicken having escaped, finding it to be comical, and then sees that both openings are wide open for them to access. iBallisticSquid still remaining, Stampy tells him to go to Stampy's Funland as quickly as possible to play Shear Fun, which he obeys by nodding his head. Afterwards, he goes outside to see what Stampy's Hot Buns looks like from the outside front, thinking it looks "dandy", though it doesn't look necessarily like cake, but looks appealing how it is anyway.
Heading over to Stampy's Funland, Stampy goes through the whole building as he assures him to follow along, saying that though he may have had a traumatic video and has been fighting a lot, he can now travel to Stampy's Funland and play a positive game, saying the name of the game, which he finds to be an awesome name. Opening the chest in the minecart station in the middle, Stampy sees his inventory's abundance, deciding to expel what he doesn't need so he can gather the dye, and then crafts a minecart so he is able to ride over to Stampy's Funland doesn't have to run all the way over, with Barnaby following behind him. Stampy comments on the comical value of allowing dogs to simply follow behind him instead of having to walk, proceeded by rainfall within the game, which he comments on the inconvenience of. Suddenly, due to the area not having any light, Stampy is bombarded by mobs outside of the land in front of the Stampy's Funland sign, stopping his minecart and causing him to die with the final blow being dealt by a creeper.
A sudden death & a dog disappearance[]
Stampy respawns back in the shelter, to which he accepts as he ended up in Stampy's Funland either way. Due to the inconvenience, Stampy now has to return to his location of death to gather his inventory contents, remarking on how he doesn't like not being armed with a sword, though he assures himself to be fine. Stampy wonders where Barnaby is, and then sees the site of his death, hoping nothing to have been destroyed by the explosion. Stampy sees the amount of items having spilled out on the floor, which he finds to be comical, and then defends himself against the mobs attacking him with his sword upon equipping it again. Gathering the last of his contents, Stampy also comments in dismay about the fact that his minecart track is now broken, as well as that it is currently raining. Stampy criticises his situation in that he intended to journey to Stampy's Funland to have fun and not be attacked, and then wonders where Barnaby's location could be again.
Arriving at Stampy's Funland officially, Stampy comments on the weirdness of how it stopped raining upon his entry into the area, thinking it to be based on the area only to find that it had simply stopped raining. Looking back and finding no one, Stampy wonders where Barnaby is, wondering if he died in the creeper explosion. He tries to search around for him, calling for him and even asking Rand0m T4ylor if he knows where he is. Stampy thinks about whether or not he was killed in the creeper explosion, dismissing the claim that he did anyway as he didn't hear him whimper, and was focusing on the fact that he was going to die when he shouldn't have, since he can simply respawn. Seeing where he thought himself to have died, Stampy wonders where Barnaby is, thinking that he may have lost his first dog. Behind him, some more mobs confront him from behind, which he tells to get away from him in anger. Stampy asks where Barnaby is, and decides he should rewatch the video to see where he had gone to, killing a skeleton as he eats some bread to revive himself again as he doesn't want to die a second time.
Stampy decides he should hide in the pit for protection from the skeleton, and then that he didn't die and that he may be sitting somewhere, thinking he may have been left at Stampy's Hot Buns and that he should check at the end of the video. To switch his focus, Stampy decides he should visit Shear Fun to have fun, while avoiding the mobs on his way there, and tells everyone to head over to "the Rubik's cube" to get enough time to have a real game on the Shear Fun mini-game. Though he was trying to avoid mobs while turning around his crazy golf course, Stampy instead ends up encountering more going through the Creeper Coaster, telling everyone to meet with him at the Shear Fun mini-game and decide on their colour, thinking he should be yellow like he was in the previous episode, though there are only four colours, meaning someone will have to sit out for the round.
Entering the main supplies station, Stampy walks inside and explains that the player simply stands on the pressure plate to give themselves dye and a set of shears, and then can start playing the game, advising everyone to enter their colour-coded base since he will press the button to star the game immediately, hoping it to not be already started. Stampy checks the red base for it is indeed in its default state, and he finds that it is, deciding to have the first official game and the second count of times playing the mini-game. Stampy tells everyone to get into their bases with their dye and shears, and that they aren't able to dye the sheep inside of their base until the block raises up. Stampy urges his helpers to enter the game quickly due to it being about to start, counting up the players as Afro Dan91, Rand0m T4ylor and L for Leeeee x.
Playing on Shear Fun officially[]
The middle block rises up, signifying the beginning of the mini-game tournament, and Stampy immediately climbs up to the middle platform to shear his first yellow sheep as he tells iBallisticSquid to cheer everyone else on, getting a pom-pom with the team colour he wants to win. Stampy shears two more yellow sheep, only ending up with three pieces of wool despite the number he had sheared, calling himself as unlucky. Stampy shears his personal sheep, earning his six pieces of wool, and then climbs back up as he states that he doesn't want to just repeatedly dye his sheep due to other people dyeing theirs. Stampy ends up dyeing another sheep eating grass just before L for Leeeee x nearby ends up shearing it, leading the dye to not process onto the sheep's code, though he believes someone else to have dyed over it. Stampy finds Rand0m T4ylor to have lagged out, and also sees iBallisticSquid attempting to participate. Stampy then sees another sheep eat, proceeding to also dye it, and then gathers the wool from the sheep, now only having a single piece of dye with nine pieces out of the required 13 to be able to win.
Stampy sees that he requires his main sheep to eat some grass to grow its wool back, noting that he needs to make his last piece of dye count, finding that Rand0m T4ylor also gathered wool for his team, and that he has to gather other players' wool upon shearing one of the sheep. He comments on how it's funny with people waiting for sheep to eat grass, and then urges the sheep to eat the grass, finding a blue one next to him and dyeing it to gather 11 pieces of wool. Behind him, L for Leeeee x attacks him out of aggression, to which Stampy retorts by telling him he can't attack Stampy and that it counts as cheating. Returning back to his main base, Stampy desperately encourages the sheep that he has to eat the grass inside due to it being his last resort, and since it doesn't, he returns to the middle platform to check the other sheep, commenting on how it's worrying him that he doesn't know how much wool other people have, and that the other players have likely already dyed over his sheep by now. He continues to encourage the other sheep to eat the grass, commenting on how iBallisticSquid is still spectating, and that someone stole his wool, trying to steal L for Leeeee x's wool as retribution. He returns back to his base via the method of using the ladder's top to jump onto the wall and into his base, nearly dying from fall damage, and is ecstatic to find that his lat resort sheep has grown it wool back, giving him 12 blocks, which he promptly piles up, reaching the button and pressing it.
Stampy celebrates that he has won the mini-game again, being attacked by the other players who dislike the fact that they lost the mini-game, telling them to get down so they can hear the music from underneath. Stampy instead ends up hearing only the last note as he couldn't drop down due to people attacking him while weak, but thinks it doesn't matter due to him having won twice in a row. Stampy considers the fact that there were connection issues between players, saying that it also doesn't matter since he won anyway, and is greeted by Afro Dan91 leaving the mini-game to give him all of the wool blocks he had taken from him. Stampy also dismisses this, calling it a "cheap tactic", prompting Afro Dan91 to attack him in anger again as he celebrates again, advising him not to do as he has already died and has only a minor amount of health points remaining.
Stampy thinks the mini-game to be something he enjoys, though he doesn't want to sound as though he is boasting since he and his helpers had built it. The mini-game is still fun regardless, and he would like some version of it in other peoples' worlds. Stampy decides that he has run out of time for the video, stating that he will plan to search for Barnaby in the next episode to check for him as he is starting to get worried, and will then show what Stampy's Hot Buns looks like completed, and then build a new mini-game in Stampy's Funland, then ending the episode with the line "But that's the end of this video, thanks to all my helpers for... helping, and thank you for... watching. Byeeee!"
