"It's, uh... it's-it's really weird, seeing her... so... tall; I like it, though!" |
— Stampy upon seeing Mittens having transformed into an anthropomorphic cat upon her wish. |
"Mitten's Wish" is the 173rd episode of Stampy's Lovely World. In this episode, Stampy and L for Leeeee x start building a post office.
Plot[]
The fourth round of the ender pearl mini-game[]
Stampy opens the episode, introducing L for Leeeee x, asking him if he he is doing good and to do nothing if he is. Immediately, he is given an ender pearl by L for Leeeee x, of which he had gathered because there weren't any last night, and he had decided to scavenge, finding that he had actually found three total ender parls. Before doing such, however, Stampy is given a cake by L for Leeeee x, of which he then eats completely, deciding to move onto the mini-game on the balcony. In case his viewers don't already know, Stampy explains the basic concept in that players throw an ender pearl from the balcony to land in the driver's seat of the F1 car on the clubhouse hill, deciding to give L for Leeeee x the permission to do so first. Promptly, he throws it, ending up too far forward from the F1 car model anyway. This leads Stampy to comment that he started off the mini-game well only to gradually get worse. Stampy decides to make his own attempt, and upon launch, he ends up on the back left wheel, to his surprise.
Afterwards, Stampy then launches another ender pearl into the Love Garden in order to land on the love heart model, only landing on the edge of the Love Garden instead, and upon walking inside, Stampy greets a spider present as Mr. Spider, of whom is present within the Love Garden, having been add already. In this case, however, Stampy is giving a shoutout to "Giovanni Ortley" for a of a 3D Stampy mask she had made, unsure of the material, thinking it to be amazing, then informing his viewers of what the Love Garden is in that he gives a shoutout to someone at the beginning of episodes, though he refrains from adding those who ask to be added as it leads to people repeatedly asking him to be added, and that there isn't a set method of entering. At first deciding to visit the doghouse to take a dog, Stampy decides against it, having been neglecting Mittens, finding roses spread around the Kitty Cat Condo, to his surprise, and upon entering inside, he finds her phasing through the corner chest, telling her to leave it alone and then opening up the balcony for the two of them to dive into the water together. The two of them do just that, Mittens following behind Stampy with some delay as she suddenly teleports in front of him in the water.
Mittens the Stampy & outlining and building up a post office[]
Stampy tells Mittens that he has a surprise for him, telling her that his world now has a wishing well next to the entrance of his house, a few other helpers already having made a wish prior themselves, deciding to give Mittens a chance to do so this time around, deciding to throw the gold ingot necessary to indicate the wish on her behalf due to not having the ability to throw it in herself. However, he lacks a gold ingot, which L for Leeeeee x then gives him, and upon throwing it in, Stampy turns around to find Mittens having turned into an anthropomorphic cat version of herself, finding it to be appealing.
Standing up Mittens, Stampy decides to explain that he is going to build a post office, unsure if Mittens will help as much as L for Leeeee x, the post office intended for the post to be delivered with a chicken, designing it via a giant tower where there will be a chimney at the very top for the chickens to fly in and out to deliver letters around the area. Starting to the right of the Toy Town Toy Shop, Stampy starts to build a circle with straight edges of four blocks wide with middle corners of three blocks wide out of stone bricks, intending for the structure to then extend rather tall. To do this, Stampy will use a building method that he has used in the past, crafting buckets to add a pool of water in the middle of the structure to then nerdpole up and then dive down, which he considers to be fun compared to simply building up the wall. Gathering water, Stampy creates an infinite water source to fill up the bottom area, though not before digging down for depth, so that he and L for Leeeee x can repeatedly climb up and jump down, rating one another on diving style. While filling up the water, Stampy finds Mittens fishing in the infinite water source, to his surprise. Creating a basic square pattern in the water, Stampy then extends the pool down to two blocks deep, which he thinks to be enough as he is only building to 15 blocks in total.
Preparing the pool of water, Stampy also takes note of fences surrounding the structure built by L for Leeeeee x to improve the appearance, and then prepares stone bricks to then build up by 15, after which he then jumps back down again, nearly colliding with the edge of the pool, causing him to wonder who will miss first, expecting it to happen at some point. Pointing this out, Stampy states it to be fun to build up and then jump down rather than build up gradually. Giving a countdown, Stampy then calls for himself and L for Leeeee x to jump down together, which they both promptly do. Stampy then sees Mittens begging to be let into the Crazy Cow Milk Bar, to his concern, finding her to want milk. Getting behind the counter, Stampy then starts to play "stal" to serve as background music. Attempting to serve her, Mittens instead decides to dash behind the counter and sit on the crafting table. Stampy tells her to sit down at the front instead so that he can give her a glass of milk, having acquired buckets already to milk the cow above, gathering enough for himself and Mittens.
Still building up the post office, Stampy attempts to give L for Leeeee x a bucket of milk as he builds up, only to fail anyway, deciding to accept it anyway. In his attempt to offer they jump down together again, L for Leeeee x then jumps onto Stampy, which Stampy scolds him for as he continues to build the post office higher. Stampy comments that he and L for Leeeee x have made progress, though he thinks L for Leeeee x to have accomplished building more than him, and they then proceed to jump in together again. On the way down, Stampy is then unexpectedly knocked by L for Leeeeee x, nearly leading him to make contact with the edge of the pool instead of the water itself. Stampy decides to then light up the area with torches as he sees Mittens at the eventual entrance of the post office throwing around fish.
Still continuing to build up, Stampy explains his plans for what he will do afterwards, intending to start the interior afterwards, which he states to be complex as the chicken has to simply drop the intended post via the chimney while flying over to then be led into a stream of water and land onto a pressure plate, which will then set off a flag to indicate mail having been sent in case he is simply passing by. Additionally, there will be a particular method to sending off the chickens with mail in that there will be a hole that the player will then release the chickens through to deliver their mail. The exterior walls nearly complete, Stampy admires L for Leeeee x's efficiency deciding that the two of them should drop down together, at which point L for Leeeee x then jumps down from above to the next unfinished segment of the building so that the two of them can jump together, which Mittens assigns as the adjudicator for, deciding on the rule of using a fish to determine such. With the main walls complete, Stampy then jumps down as he spins around, followed after by L for Leeeee x. He asks Mittens on who had the best jump, at which point L for Leeeee x accidentally inspires Stampy to attempt to bribe Mittens into choosing the winner by throwing her fish, which he responds to by throwing her a bucket of milk and reminding her of the fact that she is her pet. However, Mittens decides instead to simply eat the fish, a conclusion he accepts anyway.
Starting the interior of & adding a chicken to the post office[]
Stampy starts to then build the interior, starting to fill in the main floor with oak wood, which requires him to block up the pool of water that Mittens is fishing in in the moment. He explains the design plan for the floor, intending for the middle area to be oak wood planks and the edge of the floor to be surrounded by oak wood logs to add a stylistic difference, after which he will then add a ladder leading upwards, and a counter, which he will make out of spruce wood. With the main floor complete, Stampy gathers spruce wood from the trees around the area to then craft into planks, setting down the counter as he explains the ladders will then lead up to the second floor, which will contain the chickens in question in a "clucking chicken cage". Noticing the connotations of a cage, Stampy assures his viewers that they will be catered to, and they will be freed up, as opposed to simply being around the chicken coop on his farm where they are gathered together.
Crafting ladders to lead up to the top of the building, Stampy adds it to the right edge of the right side, after which he will then build the ceiling and, therefore, additionally build the cage. Stampy realises he can attempt to gather eggs to actually spawn chickens in, due to not having any already, and then starts to map out the floor, each being four blocks high. However, the floor won't completely be filled in and will include a gap partway through where the floor would be to see the entirety of the tower from the very bottom, and also to allow the letters to fall straight down to the bottom of the post office. Stampy then states that he has a worry based on whether or not chickens can plausibly deliver packages, as he is aware that pigeons and owls are capable.
After laying out the floor for the second floor from below, Stampy then crafts fences to serve as a barrier with a limited amount of materials, setting it down on the second floor, and once at the top, he decides to make the cage for the chickens, of which he creates via banking up against the edge of the floor the player walks across, considering possibly including more materials than what he already has for reasons of variety, then building up the ceiling so that the cage is one block high. However, actually running out of wood this time around, Stampy asks L for Leeeee x for extra oak wood after throwing a chicken into the cage via egg, desperate to craft iron bars to block it off. Surprisingly, however, Stampy finds the chicken to be obedient, additionally admiring the chicken as a baby. Being given extra oak wood by L for Leeeee x for him to craft a crafting table in order to craft a chest, Stampy is then greeted by Mittens jumping onto the crafting table, and then proceeding to the chest afterwards, which will be filled with seeds for the chickens. Stampy then adds in holes for the windows, of which he doesn't have the ability to fill in with glass.
Above the second floor, Stampy intends to add a third floor where the "exciting stuff will occur", with the layout being the same as the second floor. Leaving the third floor in question unfinished, however, Stampy decides instead to gather as many chickens as he can, using the eggs in his chicken coop, as he intends to send as many letters as he can manage. Additionally, Stampy decides to take this event as an opportunity to show his chicken coop, though not before killing a creeper with his bow and arrow from the distance. Leading himself and L for Leeeee x to the chicken coop, Stampy states that he considers the method effective, as proven by the excess of eggs underneath, as chickens lay eggs to have them dropped through a middle hole. Climbing up into the chicken coop, Stampy shows the chickens in question, of which are gathered up by the hole together, remarking them to be happy together.
Returning back after gathering eggs, Stampy notices Mr. Spider's reappearance, stating it to be a long time since adding him to the Love Garden, and that he finds it to be appealing to find passive hostile mobs, such as Agtha, who is well-known as the friendly creeper that he met a while ago, additionally including Fred among the choices, and then sees L for Leeeee x battling hostile mobs trapped behind glass in the Pick-A-Pet Pet Shop, a situation of which he decides to leave alone. Before the end of the episode, Stampy decides to spawn in as many chickens as he can manage, L for Leeeee x opening a hole to allow this, after which L for Leeeee x throws eggs at the chicken and causes the only one present to dash out and escape, though the chicken ends up getting caught on the edge of the balcony. With the chicken trapped, Stampy decides to instead throw his remaining eggs, only to find that he is unable to spawn further chickens, accepting the one chicken that he has, of whom is currently running loose. As the chicken is chased around in front of him, Stampy deems that he has run out of time, thanking L for Leeee x, Mittens and the chicken for entertaining him, eventually ending the episode with the line "That's the end of this video here. Once again, thank you all very much for watching, and I will see you all later. Byeee!"
