"I love how I'm being very organised, doing two of every different type. It's like, the Noah's Ark of building materials: two of every different type [laughs]."
— Stampy explaining his organisation for the inspiration room and comparing it to a well-known religious story.

"Inspiration Room" is the 31st episode of Stampy's Lovely World. In this episode, Stampy displays progress on his theatre, having completed the main lobby, as well as his finished swimming pool, and then begins building his inspiration room.

Plot[]

A finished theatre lobby and a beginning theatre stage, manually adding a shoutout & a finished swimming pool[]

Stampy opens the episode in his bedroom, and he immediately notes how he is doing commentary on his own, having been doing dual commentaries for the past few episodes. Stampy goes to introduce that he still has helpers with him, however, running out into his bedroom to follow LONG bow X99 to introduce his presence to the viewers, as well as HitTheTarget98, who Stampy believes is working on his fortress in current time, only to be jumped on by HitTheTarget98 himself attacking him. Stampy goes to flee into the middle area of the main section of his house, now noticing that his dogs will attack him. Stampy walks around his house to reach his Love Garden as he ponders as to why he allows HitTheTarget98 to still be allowed in his world.

Entering into his Love Garden, Stampy explains that LONG bow X99's main role in the episode is to fix the lights on the theatre, intending for a coordinated flashing pattern. x Bread Stick was planned to be the one to fix the lights, but he ended up lagging offline just before recording, and never ended up returning, which is something he explains as HitTheTarget98 himself is presumably doing the same thing. LONG bow X99 decided to tag the role of the theatre redstone due to this, which means that the redstone is a team effort. Seeing HitTheTarget98's issue, Stampy attempts to invite him back, only for him to fail, and he decides to just keep LONG bow X99 in the game.

Stampy enters into the theatre to demonstrate progress, having shown that he has added a floor to the lobby, eventually concluding with a red and green checkered pattern with 2x2 squares, adding red into the ticket booth interior. Stampy thinks the pattern looks cool, and he had previously decided for the checkered to be the basic miniature form, only to find it to be awkward. Stampy walks further into the theatre, leading himself to the expected stage area, having built up the walls of the stage to the full height. Stampy believes that the theatre will appear smaller upon completion of the interior. Stampy jumps down onto the bare floor of the theatre, illustrating the layout via words. Stampy shows where he plans for his tiered seats to be, as well as a stage and a music pit for the theatre. Before leaving, Stampy checks the redstone mechanism atop the entrance to the theatre, saying that he hopes for the theatre lights to be complete by the end of the episode. Stampy explains as he leaves the theatre that LONG bow X99 thinks the process is annoying, due to repeatedly having to return back outside to verify if the lights function as expected. Ironically, Stampy finds LONG bow X99 standing still for no particular reason as he walks over to his Love Garden.

Stampy had approached his Love Garden to update it with a person, reiterating that he is only adding one person per video due to the excessive amount of people around him, and will add "TheCorrupt1234" in the Love Garden via the sign. Stampy says that he has the name on his phone to spell it correctly, though he thinks that he will still manage to spell it incorrectly anyway, and will read out the comment he wrote. He thinks that the new rule for achieving getting into the Love Garden is more personal due to him not being able to add everyone, and will motivate the viewer to write an inventive comment. If the viewer writes on every video, he will eventually get to them anyway at some point. Having added the sign, Stampy says the comment that TheCorrupt1243 wrote: "Hey, Stampy, I spent 6 hours watching your videos, I really enjoyed them. Can you add me to the Love Garden? My gamertag is MorpheusTM."

Stampy realises that he added his gamertag instead, hoping that his viewer doesn't mind. Additionally, the user recommended Stampy names a dog "Slucie", something he has trouble pronouncing, as well as adding him on Xbox as a friend. Stampy welcomes TheCorrupt1243 to the Love Garden and thanks him for watching his videos, and then walks through his house to reach his doghouse via the main entrance. He explains the basic plans for the video in that he will build an Inspiration Room, mistakenly calling it an "imagination room" at first, which he will visit to get inspired, as a Minecraft player may need various materials to inspire them. Stampy decides to pick his dog "Guilty Bark", which Afro Dan91 suggested, and he leaves via the alternative entrance as he calls it the worst dog name suggestion. Stampy continues explanining the logistics of the room as he walks around the back of the house to enter the area that he will plan to use for the inspiration room. Stampy continues in that it will have two of every possible block, and it will inspire him to choose materials to build out of. Stampy clarifies that he is aware that he can't position down every single possible type of block in the game, and doesn't have enough gold nor diamond, nor clay or bricks due to the update he created the world in. Stampy shows a chest, filled with two of every plausible block as stated before.

Before Stampy beginto build, he visits his swimming pool to update on how he had improved it since the issues in the previous episode, sarcastically saying he built it "absolutely fantastically". Stampy shows the swimming pool has been evened out, and a fountain leading to the outside has additionally been added that leads into a miniature pond area. He also shows the jacuzzi he had made, which is just a lever next to a trough of water. Stampy considers modifying the design of the swimming pool due to thinking the lack of colour is mundane bar the ceiling.

Stampy finally returns back up to the main floor of the inspiration room only to find LONG bow X99 lag out of the game, and he goes to invite everyone back in again to assist him. After doing so, Stampy shows the chest filled with the resources for the inspiration room, ordering everything around for how it is expected to be designed in the room itself. Stampy decides to manually position each block so he maintains the order to prevent confusion, and finds that the quick-move simply places it into his inventory. Stampy says that he ordered it in the form of a rainbow, and will attempt to fit the colours that don't fit into the spectrum. Stampy hopes to himself that the room will fit in the planned space, and has gathered the right amount of materials to fill in the entire room. Stampy tries to invite LONG bow X99 back into the game again, only to fit that it isn't allowing him to invite him again, to which he apologises to LONG bow X99 for.

The first two walls of the inspiration room[]

Stampy beginby adding lime wool, and then green wool on top in a four-block pillar divided by two. Stampy realises that he isn't adding it in the order he had planned, and removes the blocks due to realising that it isn't the beginning of the colour wheel, and regrets not adding a ceiling in advance. Stampy adds two blocks of brown, adding two blocks of red on top, telling the viewers he hadn't decided on the ceiling. He jumps down and adds orange onto yellow, realising that he will severely injure himself if he continues to build the way that he is, taking advantage of the next-door transport station's ceiling, and adds green wool with lime wool on top and then blue wool with cyan wool on top, questioning why he isn't building effectively enough. Stampy always sees in his comments that his viewers describe his buildings as "amazing", and defines that he is actually in the learning phase, and that he considers Stampy's Lovely World his learning world, having not even obtained the PC version, adding light blue wool and adding purple wool on top of it. Adding pink wool on top of magenta, Stampy says he is glad to help his viewers if they think he is a feasible tutorial, but he is still learning every time he plays, adding grey on top of black and white on top of light grey, due to the sheer amount of depth in the game.

Stampy finishes adding the wool thinking it looks appealing, though it won't look as appealing once he adds the other block palettes. Stampy gathers more resources, adding spruce wood logs onto birch logs, commending himself for being organised, adding oak wood planks onto oak wood logs, and then sees Guilty Bark on the roof of the transport station. With the first wall complete, Stampy thinks that the room will appear cool, and thinks that though the design is unorthodox, especially for himself, and believes it to be genuinely useful as he has issues deciding on materials.

Adding some dispensers in the next wall's first corner, with furnaces on top, adding two sticky pistons facing into the room, he states that the room assists him in deciding how to build. He gives an example in how the spruce wood log could complement one of the wool blocks, and compares it to a colour chart. Stampy is interrupted by HitTheTarget98 adding crafting tables onto the sticky pistons, annoyed and preferring him to be a villain instead. Stampy had believed HitTheTarget98 would instead be building in his fortress as opposed to helping him, and thinks it to be inconvenient anyway as he will only receive help upon asking for it than anything else. Now holding the leaves, Stampy wonders if they will be able to stay, since they are far away from the logs. He ponders if they are too far away, hoping it isn't, accidentally adding moss cobblestone on top of the leaves. Stampy hears fire, realising it's his library fireplace, and then breaks his moss cobblestone issue to replace it. Stampy explains that he thinks HitTheTarget98 and his helpers in general are going to do something unexpected.

Stampy realises that the other two types of leaves he requires are the only ones he has to place on top of the other leaves, and returns to his chest, only to find that his supplies have been stolen by HitTheTarget98 in his attempt to help, and he goes to gather the remaining materials as he instructs HitTheTarget98 not to help him. After placing down the second leaves, Stampy finds the leaves are disappearing, and attempts to rearrange them in the episode itself, only to decide afterwards to simply rearrange it off-camera. Stampy had considered adding cacti to the room, only to realise that he may need seen, and may not even be capable of placing them anyway since they require a gap on each side. He decides to ignore cactus anyway, adding sand down with sandstone on top. Stampy explains that the room hasn't got a particular pattern, though particular elements like gold and iron ores, he will pair together, and it will be of a random order. Finally, Stampy adds some netherrack on top of glowstone, and describes the glowstone looks good and lights up the room. Stampy calls glowstone a useful object in comparison to the other blocks, adding obsidian on top of glass, and then turns around to see HitTheTarget98 just standing around, and expresses that he is scared.

The last possible wall of the inspiration room[]

Stampy also adds that the sound of enemies in the background only scares him further, hearing a spider hissing, adding a jack-o-lantern with pumpkins on top. Stampy shows the player list, LONG bow X99 being in it again, and he finds that no one else is going to bed, deciding to stay up all night agian. Stampy checks his inventory for TNT, finding that there is one missing from his stocks. In fear, Stampy verifies the chest containments, and it is revealed it is completely empty. Stampy finds that HitTheTarget98 had stolen it, and attempts to urge him to return it back by holding out the TNT to him. Stampy ends up cowering back in the corner and acting guilty. Having none of it, Stampy grows irritated by his refusal to cooperate, placing down the TNT as demonstration. He asks him for his TNT again, and receives no response, HitTheTarget98 continuing to act guilty, Stampy expressing that he doesn't like the current situation. Stampy also worries that he has stolen other materials from the chest, and it may ruin the pattern.

Stampy continues the wall, adding crafting tables with chests on top, saying that he should just build by himself. He accidentally takes out another crafting table due to his excessive number, and then expresses his fear over the random sounds of fire once more. Stampy places a single bookshelf, two pieces of gravel next to it, and then places lapis lazuli next to the gravel, adding soul sand on top of the gravel. Stampy thinks that the side containing the wool is going to be the prettiest side of the room, the other two sides he is building not adding up to the same standard. Stampy adds some iron blocks on top of the lapis lazuli to stay true to the theme of valuables, and goes to check any additional valuables he may have. Stampy picks out stone, adding cobblestone on top of it, worrying about potentially exhausting himself of materials, though he is aware of the TNT HitTheTarget98 is in possession of, adding moss cobblestone with two full blocks worth of stone slabs on top, though he is only able to add one full block due to a potential miscount. Stampy then adds snow with note blocks on top, accidentally playing it, and then checks the contents of the chest again. Finding the room to be incomplete, Stampy wonders why the room isn't complete, and questions if he calculated it incorrectly. Stampy is aware that he still has to add TNT, and goes to craft another bookshelf, and some more stone slabs.

Stampy clarifies once again that the room won't just be primarily for inspiration, but will also act as an office, and will add a desk for detail. Stampy once again claims the room to be useful as he gathers more stone slabs, even though the player could build without having to use it to inspire palettes, but due to himself having to learn how Minecraft works due to being new to it, he thinks the room will ease out his decisions for what to build. Returning back to the inspiration room, Stampy states that he has open a Minecraft Wiki to teach him the various blocks in store, seeing HitTheTarget98 and once again expressing worry. Stampy wonders if he had miscounted again, only to find that HitTheTarget98 had added a second bookshelf, and then places his only TNT on top of the bookshelves. Stampy continues, explaining that he presumed his gold and diamond would complete the room.

Stampy also states that, since two slabs make up one full block, he doesn't have to worry about the stone slabs, and then believes he will mess up the process, and has issues trying to add the final stone slab. Stampy wonders what else he can do, since he has had resources stolen from him, looking at HitTheTarget98 again, and will have the materials to reach the end of the wall, and will intend to simply build the last wall something different, adding gold and diamond on the corner, and will add some paintings on the last wall. Additionally, he was also considering chests filled with the resources, and then finds that he was given something by HitTheTarget98, which turns out to be stone.

Finding HitTheTarget98 throwing redstone dust excessively, characterising it as him celebrating the near-completion of the inspiration room, Stampy decides he should check on LONG bow X99 and his progress on the theatre lights, and will return to the theatre in the next episode. However, Stampy is reminded of something beforehand, returning back into the wing of his house. Stampy walks up the top of the wing of the house, and says that he needs "inspiration", which is ironic due to the room he is building, and shows the hill atop the house. Stampy finds zombies at the top, refusing to kill them as they will burn from the sunrise anyway. Stampy knocks one of the zombies, and Guilty Bark charges for it, successfully killing it and leaving one behind. Stampy tries to urge the zombie to be killed by Guilty Bark, only for the excessive damage given to Guilty Bark leading him to die, much to Stampy's guilt. Stampy sees HitTheTarget98 at the top of the building, having joined him, and decides to blame his death on him for no particular reason besides a strained relationship. He decides that out of most things he should build atop the hill, it should not be a grave for Guilty Bark, and something else instead. He thinks he should add some windows on top of the house due to the area, and recommends his viewers to give him ideas. Besides the building at the top, the only remaining things Stampy has to work on from this point onwards is his theatre, as well as a golf course he additionally has planned, wanting to build it distantly diagonally from the house, a minecart track leading to it for ease of access. Stampy points out that he has a lot to build, and he intends for the last room of his house to be what will be at the top of the wing of the house.

Wondering what should be the last main room of the house and checking the theatre lights[]

Stampy returns back down underneath the house, blocking up the entrance, and goes to the theatre as he explains his plan to build a woods underneath the lake of his house, underneath in his main section, planning for a colourful forest called "Little Wood" in a reference to one of his subscribers who he knows in the real world and has been designing a channel background for him, and wants to thank him for his efforts by building it in his name. With the multiple projects in mind, Stampy realises that he may overload himself, and wishes to condense down his priorities. Finally, Stampy sees the theatre lights flashing atop, and sees that the pattern is going somewhat random instead of in a coordinated pattern. Regardless, Stampy admires the effort, however, as it is an improvement compared to before.

Stampy walks into the theatre upon seeing a zombie, killing it to protect LONG bow X99, calling himself a good boss before jokingly acting like a bad one and hitting him with his iron sword as he leaves the theatre to end the episode. Stampy apologises for his lack of building, and comments that his viewers may be used to that due to his previous videos, and decides that is all he has left to say, rapidly ending the episode with the line "I'll see you all later, byeee!"

Trivia[]

  • From this episode onwards, Stampy only adds a single person in the Love Garden, or otherwise a group if the people he adds count as a group.
  • This is the first episode of Stampy's Lovely World to feature HitTheTarget98 in the General Akamoto skin.
  • Even though Stampy blames Hit The Target for the death of Guilty Bark, his death was actually his total responsibility, as he forgot to return Guilty Bark's NPC health to form, as well as forgetting to sit him down when he noticed the zombies at the top of the hill and instead taking him up to attack two zombies that were easy to deal with through the stone sword that Stampy had equipped at the time.
    • This could mean that Hit The Target becoming a villain was actually Stampy's fault.
  • A grave was not created for Guilty Bark until "Stampy's Club House", eight episodes later.
