"Oh no no no no no no no! Gregory Jr.! Is he alive!? Please don't be dead. Uuuuhh! If he died, I think that might've been my new record for killing a dog in a video. Luckily... I've prepared for such an event and brought some porkchops with me ready. Maybe I should've brought some more, but..."
— Stampy after Gregory Jr. is nearly killed by a creeper explosion toned down through the water.

"Golf, Gregory Jr. And Lots Of Googlies" is the 33rd episode of Stampy's Lovely World. In this episode, Stampy shows the progress made on his crazy golf course, having created the first two holes and presently making the third one, which is themed around a doghouse, and then shows further progress on the interior of his theatre.

Plot[]

A creeper mishap, and playing the first two crazy golf course holes[]

Stampy opens the episode in his bedroom, entering into his balcony to describe the day as "beautiful". He calls it a perfect day for a spot of golf, which is related to his current plans for the episode. Stampy leaves the bedroom, explaining that he is by himself because no one wants to play with him, which has been a long time since, noting that he is dressed up as a cat, criticising himself for remaining in the same skin. Walking through his storage area, Stampy sees a sheep through the window to his farm and is eager to catch it. Climbing up on the roof, Stampy sees the sign from the previous episode reading "Creeper and Spider at Love Garden" he had immediately forgotten about the context of, switching his memory between LONG bow X99 and x Bread Stick. He decides to leave it there as a form of memento, and moves on as he jumps down to the farm from his roof to target the sheep he saw. Stampy dyes the two sheep red and shears them as he explains his basic plans for the episode, planning to play the first hole which he built in the previous episode, show a second hole he had created in advance, and will create the third hole, hoping that the golf course will look more like a golf course by the third hole.

Leading himself over to the entrance of his house, Stampy sees a creeper and decides to take caution since he will be journeying over in that particular direction, and after accepting it, he enters into his doghouse to be his companion for the episode, and he decides to take one of the corner dogs, entitling them as Gregory Jr. and reminding his viewers of his identity, describing him as the long-lost son of Gregory who was killed during one of his more earlier episodes. They both take the railroad to the Golf Course. Stampy plans for Gregory Jr. to stay at the golf course and keep guard of it, as he will be building a doghouse-themed hole, comparing it to the doghouse itself. While leaving out of the main entrance, he introduces his viewers to a new dog named "Oreo" who is a replacement for Guilty Bark who died recently by a zombie. While leaving his doghouse, Stampy checks his surroundings for the creeper, only to find it traveling down the second stairs for his farm for a surprise attack, forcing Stampy to flee away. Stampy at first considers attacking it, but desires not to as he may destroy the path. Stampy decides to lure the creeper into the nearby ocean, advising Gregory Jr. not to join him, not wanting him to lead to the same fate as Gregory, though Gregory died via skeleton instead. Stampy realises the creeper will kill him, if not Gregory Jr., and he hits the creeper once with his iron sword. The creeper ends up exploding and catching Stampy himself as well as Gregory Jr. in the range, damaging Gregory Jr. but not killing him. Stampy says that he would have achieved a new record for killing a dog on-screen if it did.

After the damage taken by Gregory Jr., Stampy retrieves some porkchops from his inventory, having prepared some in advance, though he believes he should've gathered more, and he feeds them to Greogry Jr. Running back onto the land and onto the path again, Stampy is reminded of a comment someone made by someone he didn't remember, though if he did he would give them a shoutout, about how his dogs dread being picked by Stampy as the ones he picks never return as they end up killed in whatever possible way. Stampy visits his minecart track to travel over to his golf course, complaining about how dogs always find some method of killing themselves. Stampy hits something on his way with the minecart, though he is unsure what, and he is bounced back by something unseen, deducing it as Gregory Jr. Stampy leaves his minecart to check, causing it to be knocked by him, nearly leading it to be pushed off into the distance. Stampy desperately stops it from shooting off into the distance by picking up the minecart, and then decides to revisit his doghouse for more porkchops for Gregory, fearing that he may die eventually. Stampy expresses the awareness that he has already lost a feasible amount of dogs, describing himself as "the worst dog owner in the world" once again, and decides to play it safe, or at least as safe as he can be in the game, deciding to revive Gregory Jr. as much as he can.

Leaving the doghouse via the main entrance again, Stampy informs his viewers how to deduce a dog's health in that the main indicator is the height of its tail, joking that they may have encountered many creepers than necessary. Stampy proceeds to his minecart track to finally travel over to his golf course, and plans to update his theatre and Love Garden afterwards. Gregory Jr. interferes again, however, and he accidentally enters the minecart. Stampy accepts his mischief and decides to take the next minecart instead. Finally pushing him, Stampy finds it hilarious how his legs are erratically moving around, and then travels over via minecart to the next station as he comments how he has a lot of fun with minecart dogs, though he is also worried that he may bounce back against Gregory Jr.'s minecart. Stampy sees Gregory Jr. having landed in the minecart, unharmed, and then uses the minecart track to the golf course, reiterating the basic plan for the episode once more in that he will theme the golf hole around a doghouse, using the idea of the ball having to travel through the tunnel of to reach the hole.

Stampy stores his minecart away, and explains to his viewers that they can recommend themes for his holes as he doesn't exactly know what he is doing himself, journeying into the golf course itself. Stampy shows off the first two holes completed, the second hole featuring a dip. As he demonstrates on the first hole, he also shows that he added a note block mechanism to the golf hole, though Gregory Jr. nearly interferes with said demonstration. Stampy then moves onto the second golf hole, which is labeled as a par 3, though it can be done in 2. Stampy believes himself to be unable to cleanly demonstrate the alternative of two throws, and instead turns out to lead himself to the golf hole by the first throw with ease. Stampy explains further that, as in typical golf, the player must also make their next shot where the ball first landed. Additionally, he explains the basics of how the golf hole creates the sound in that it uses a simple single piece of redstone dust.

Stampy tries the second hole again as he describes a previous experience with the hole in that he consistently attempt to try it in a hole-in-one, but kept failing, and he believed he could do it in one if he surpassed the orange marker. Stampy presumes he had thrown it in the hole the first time, only for it to turn out he didn't because it doesn't reach. Stampy states that the first two holes are more like "training holes" and could be completed in one throw, unlike the holes proceeding which will have more added elements to them.

Building the foundation of a doghouse-based crazy golf course hole[]

Stampy finally starts constructing the third hole which he planned for the entire episode, sitting down Gregory Jr. in advance to avoid hitting him with the shovel. Stampy decides to lay it out with a direct trail, additionally explaining that the underneath of each hole will feature normal stone due to the informality of dirt as it can be seen through ice. Stampy starts filling in the stone on the sides of the hole layout, additionally including stone under the floor where the water is supposed to be in advance, though he won't add the note block or the redstone in the episode due to how boring it would be. Stampy explains why he is completing the hole prior to anything else is due to him wanting to show the ice surface of the hole with the water having frozen over so he is able to play it at the end of the episode after showing his theatre and Love Garden.

Stampy decides he should have a two-block gap and add the doghouse, planning for it to appear similar to his main doghouse with a tunnel featuring stairs on top. He decides for a three-block long doghouse, and hopes that trial and error will lead to a qualifiable result, jumping onto the side of the structure to place the stairs. Stampy realises that he is placing them incorrectly and degrades himself for doing so, thinking that it happened because he is inexperienced with Minecraft. Stampy understands that the direction of stairs depend on player position, something he forgot as he wished to complete the hole more rapidly, and failed instead. Stampy continues that his viewers can suggest golf hole ideas, stating that his friend and subscriber "Little W00d" suggested a hole as a miniature cobblestone castle, featuring a drawbridge with a piston, and will make it the next hole instead. Stampy plans eventually to build something more extravagant than his current state of affairs such as a rocket ship, as he fills in the ceiling of the miniature doghouse tunnel.

Stampy complains about the building process in Minecraft in that if something is miniature, it is difficult to add detail to it, and he wishes for concepts to be obvious without having to try hard to perceive it. Stampy decides to add the water immediately so it can freeze over, and then walks to the back, explaining that he plans for Gregory Jr. to sit somewhere around the general area as an obstacle, recommending to throw around the dog or otherwise throwing it to the dog for them to catch it, inspiring Stampy for an idea to add as an update, which is playing fetch with the dog. Stampy deduces the ball traveling length, and continues digging out the hole's basic shape as it makes sense to him. Suddenly, Stampy sees the water flow having stopped, seeing it to have frozen, and he finds that the process may take longer than he had expected. Stampy adds two more sources of water to speed up the process.

Stampy says that he wishes to use creative mode in order to position ice from form instead of having to convert water into it, but doesn't want to as it is more valuable doing things by one's own hand as it turns to night. Stampy expresses that he is eager for the next update to the game, though he won't be in creative mode that often. Though he finds building, mining and gathering to be entertaining, he finds creative mode to be fun too. Placing down the planned point of where Gregory Jr. is going to sit, Stampy explains that a tourist of a Minecraft world would always be aware of the idea that all of their resources were gathered by their own hand, and due to the duplication glitch, the element is lost, and the fact that Xbox 360 will add creative mode as well eliminates the "special" idea behind having built something by one's own hand rather than assistance from creative mode. However, Stampy finds there to be an advantage in that it allows infinite access to materials, and, for example, can allow the player to build a tower of diamonds.

Moving on, Stampy decides to add the hole two blocks behind the area where Gregory Jr. will sit, dipping it down by one as well. The dog will be expected to sit in one area and the player will have to divert the ball around them as an obstacle. Stampy also considers extending out one further back, but decides not to due to time, and has noticed that it is turning to night, and that he is not on peaceful mode, as demonstrated by the introduction of the episode. Stampy decides to make his final task to fill in the hole with water to convert it into ice and then return to his house to sleep before being killed by a mob, as he doesn't want to make his efforts on the third hole for nothing due to a creeper explosion. He also commends Gregory Jr. for his obedience, and will presumably give him porkchops later on in return. He also adds that he will add the stone underneath the hole's surface later, since it is easier to add it with the ice already there. Stampy decides to place three more buckets of water down, and then play it after sleeping in his house before the end of the episode. In terms of his future schedule, Stampy decides he should use a routine of creating a hole in advance and building the next one in the episode, as it will take some time to fill in the golf course. Additionally, he is eager to show the theatre updates since there have been significant updates to it, with the interior almost being complete, and he has to finish the roof as well as add some rooms.

Stampy has decided that it is the end of the operation, and decides to return back to his house, Gregory Jr. in tow, and will sleep. Stampy takes back his minecart and returns back to his house as he expresses the joy of riding minecarts. Popping out the other side of his tunnel, Stampy freaks out as he notices multiple mobs surrounding the area, almost causing a creeper to blow up, comparing it to a ghost train and calling it "terrifying", now desperate. He ponders on whether or not he should've decided to sleep in his emergency igloo instead, recalling that he didn't because he wanted to show off his theatre. Stampy sees an island full of mobs, calling it "Googlies Island", and desperately attempts to escape some mobs surrounding him upon leaving the minecart station, running inside his house entrance as Gregory Jr. is being hurt, comparable to the events leading to Gregory's death.

Walking inside, Stampy sees two dogs, questioning them in his emotive outburst, and then calms down as he is relieved by his temporary safety, and is worried as he hears the sound of various mobs outside. Stampy walks across to the other side of his house, gathering porkchops from one of his chests to feed Gregory Jr., calling the situation "intense" and "bloody terrifying", saying that he can use "bloody" because it isn't technically cursing and he is British. Feeding Gregory Jr. the porkchop, and questioning the presence of two dogs, Stampy wonders if one of his other dogs charged out to protect him, and then decides he genuinely needs to sleep after such an event, and then makes a note to sleep before it turns to night or otherwise, the player may end up exploded or shot by an arrow, leaving to update on the theatre, as he shames himself for staying awake to fill in the water for his crazy golf course. He believes himself to have received karma for his reckless actions, and then realises that he didn't, having not been killed.

Shoutouts, progress on the near-complete theatre stage interior & playing some crazy golf[]

Stampy walks over to the outside of his house, now having two of his dogs following him, and then checks for creepers in the Love Garden since he tolerates himself being killed, but not creepers destroying his buildings. Verifying himself to be in the clear, Stampy checks his Love Garden and gives some shoutouts, to:

  • "TheCorrupt1243", who he nearly forgot about literally writing the sign down for in an episode;
  • "Rosie833", who is one of her personal friends and forced him to add her as a sign;
  • "Master Davros Vlogs", who he rearranged the sign positioning of;
  • "aNd1 M3G4TR0N".

Stampy moves onto the opposite side, giving a shoutout to:

  • "Xx Wreckers xX";
  • "rudeboykofi";
  • "UnlivingClock8";
  • "Reacherz";
  • "StickyNeptune".

Stampy explains that the listed individuals were in a recent episode of his where he responded to messages sent to him, and gave them a shoutout due to their affability, walking inside of his theatre again to update.

Stampy shows the new lobby redesign, having mirrored the stand designs, assigning one of the two as a "souvenirs" stand where the toilet once was, the toilet having been rearranged. Stampy considers decorating the area, and clarifies that the lobby was too small in the previous design. Stampy walks into the connecting hallway to show the new toilet location, showing the toilets having been separated by genders with entire rooms. Stampy hears a zombie behind the wall, though there are actually two, saying that he will add some torches as he calls them to be loud, and then walks over to the opposite gender toilet, and will additionally create some sinks. He thinks that the layout is an improvement compared to the initial design, considering it more of an expansion, and then shows the corridors that the hallway leads into, showing off the new stage area progress since it leads into the stage, checking for a creeper again. Stampy tries to give the impression of the theatre's final design to his viewers, and also shows the seats. He was initially deciding to add signs to divide the seats, but since they take up a full block, he couldn't and had to use a log alternating design, saying he thinks it looks okay, walking up above to where the zombies currently are. He also looks up to show the royal boxes where rich people are at the most advantage to view the show.

Stampy walks up onto the stage to show the black backdrop again, considering desigining it with different sets. Stampy shows a trapdoor leading underneath the stage, which will eventually have different tunnels, and he shows the trapdoor leads to his music pit, where he plans to have note blocks and a jukebox. Stampy also goes to show the backstage, which isn't complete let alone existent, and he will add rooms of preparation for the actors in the backstage area. Stampy also comments how there isn't a roof, joking about how his audience may like watching the stars, and clarifies that he is delaying the roof as it will be the most difficult building operation of his. Stampy walks upstairs to show where the top floor leads, showing that it leads to a higher point above the seating areas in the theatre. Additionally, there are tunnels on both sides that lead to the royal boxes, demonstrating the view from the royal boxes. Stampy agrees with the interior of the theatre's design, though he isn't completely sure and asks for his viewers opinion, saying he needs his ego boosts occasionally.

Stampy also shows the redstone above the theatre entrance via the ticket booth, and due to LONG bow X99 and x Bread Stick's failure, Stampy decides he should work on it by himself, using a minecart system, and will do it on-screen. Stampy also announces that he will eventually play a Hunger Games map, and then moves onto his final goal to check if the water has been frozen, deciding to leave the two dogs in his house, deciding that the second dog is Barnaby, telling Gregory Jr. to follow him. Upon leaving his house, Stampy finds the loot the mobs dropped due to the fire of the day, stating that he is unable to believe what happened at night, using his minecart track to travel to his crazy golf course, joking about the constant wave of mobs coming to attack him. Stampy gives a sigh of exasperation as he continues his travel, and then apologises for speaking rapidly, attempting to condense his episodes down by explaining everything with more urgency, causing him to mess up his words

Finally arriving at the crazy golf course, Stampy hopes the water to have frozen so he can test the holes, only to find that it hasn't frozen, much to his annoyance. Stampy wonders if the player has to be near the water for it to freeze into ice, and that streams prevent certain parts of the water from freezing. Seeing Gregory Jr. jump into the water, Stampy advises him not to due to the temperature, and coerces him to sit on the purple marker block made solely for him, demanding him to sit down on it. Still in the water, Stampy predicts him to eventually actually freeze in the water. Gregory Jr. finally leaves the water, shaking, and he concludes that the water may not freeze within the episode, and decides to return in the next episode upon the final conclusion of the hole.

Deciding to end the episode, Stampy requests his viewers to offer him building suggestions in terms of golf holes, and other ideas, and additionally clarifies the Love Garden rules in that the comment he decides on is the user he will add to the Love Garden, and won't just add people who demand him to add them, appropriately so, as his Love Garden will fill up completely, ending the episode with "Thank you all for watching, and I will see you later. Byeeee!"
