The game consists of a small arena with three sides, all containing four item frames covered by a wall which can be lifted down by a lever.
Before the start of the game, players must assign who will be the admin, the see-er, the guesser, and the spy.
- Admin - the player who controls the entire game. The player with this position is able to shuffle the fish in his/her desired order for the other players.
- See-er - the assistant to the admin. The player with this position is able to see and remember the order made by the admin and lets it guess to the guesser and the spy. The player also holds the fishes and the buckets, as additional sign languages.
- Guesser - The player with this position has to guess the order using the see-er's sign languages and signals.
- Spy - The player with this position has the same goal as the guesser, but he/she acts to prevent the guesser from winning by having the correct order.
At the start of the game, the admin shuffles these fishes in his/her desired order: fish, raw fish, clown fish, and puffer fish. The see-er then remembers the order and presents it to the guesser and the spy using the four fishes and three buckets. The see-er also has the additional task to avoid the order being seen by the spy. Once the see-er is done, both the guesser and the spy go to their sides and arrange the fishes in the correct order. Once both players are done, the admin then flicks the lever and reveals the correct pattern. If the spy gets it correctly, he/she wins the round (even if the guesser gets it correctly or not), but if the guesser gets it correctly and the spy doesn't, both the guesser and the see-er win.
The tournament was held in the episode of the same name participated by Stampy and his helpers. Both William Beaver and Fizzy Elephant win the game, as they were the only players who got a point in the entire match.
