"Colourful Castle" is the 170th episode of Stampy's Lovely World. In this episode, Stampy and his helpers start building a fishing rod and piston-based elimination mini-game dubbed "Flop", alternatively "Fling And Drop".
Plot[]
A creepy bear & the first round of an ender pearl game[]
Stampy opens the episode, introducing L for Leeeee x, whom he finds suspiciously inside of a hole between the two walls of his bedroom, to his confusion, deciding to walk outside to find the full extent, greeting Amy Lee33 along the way and then looking through the open stairs to find him having created some form of miniature bedroom, which he finds to be creepy in context due to bear eyes staring directly at you while sleeping, though he reconsiders this thought and thinks him to somewhat look cute in actuality. Introducing his current helpers, Stampy teases the presence of a third helper, of whom is around his world somewhere, having no idea of where he is and expecting him to turn up later.
Stampy proposes a game that the three of them can play by his balcony, though not before eating his cake, deciding to use an oak wood table for cake peekaboo, which all three of them play together until Stampy eats the cake, and moving onto the game that Stampy has prepared, all three of them gather ender pearls together. In regard to Stampy's idea for the mini-game, Stampy explains that a player has to ender pearl and land in the driver's seat of the F1 car model by the clubhouse, of which Ank55 had given him for Christmas 2012, offering Amy Lee33 to make the first attempt. Instructing her to stay still, Stampy then offers L for Leeeee x for the second attempt, of which he commends the effort on. Now on his attempt, Stampy ends up falling just short of L for Leeeee x, amazed by how close he is in comparison. Stampy offers his helpers to make a second attempt in the next episode, seeing Amy Lee33 in the distance where she had landed.
Visiting the Love Garden, Stampy decides to use an ender pearl in an attempt to land on the heart model, which he comes close to achieving, only being inches to the right from where he had thrown it, and once there, he gives a shoutout to "Shane Randall", intending to also add his brother at first only to not know his name, for creating a video entitled "Tribute to Stampy", where the two of them dressed up as himself and a creeper, and the two of them then battled, finding the video they made to be endearing. After, he turns around to find LONG bow X99 inside of his crafting room, considering him to be sneaky and wondering if he is sad for missing out on the game. Deciding to give him a chance, he allows him to enter into the drop into the racecar from the Love Garden, after which all of them will then head to Stampy's Funland to start building a new mini-game.
Surprised by how close he is, Stampy then offers LONG bow X99 to join them in the doghouse, deciding to take Duncan and Mittens in advance, asking if they are good, and then finding Duncan and picking him up once in the doghouse. After, he then visits the Kitty Cat Condo to take Mittens, finding her sitting on the chest, standing her up, and then jumping off of the balcony with a spin into the water below, followed by his two pets, pointing out that they are "special friends" and like to hang together.
Building a colourful red and blue castle for Flop[]
After, Stampy then proposes a race to Stampy's Funland, deciding to explain the plan for the new mini-game, calling it "Fling And Drop", which is "Flop" combined, and is interrupted by everyone's eagerness to reach the building location as all of three of them battle to use ender pearls against one another, though only Stampy knows of the main building location. Stampy continues explaining the mini-game in that players have fishing rods, and use a platform to allow the ability fling a fishing rod while moving left and right with pressure plates on the opposite side, the pressure plates then extending the pistons. Interrupted once again, Stampy finds another stray dog walking past Road Hog, to his confusion, thinking of eventually taming him as he continues on from the part about the pressure plates, stating that once the pressure plate extends the pistons, they will knock the opposite team into a pit, potentially including a three-life limit. Additionally, the entire mini-game will be set in a "colourful castle", with one side red and the other blue, proposing a competition to build one side quicker than the other.
However, before enacting this competition, Stampy firstly has to determine the dimensions of the castle, of which will be 19x11, starting two blocks diagonally in from the path and building a length of red across before realising that he needs to divide the two colours, commenting on the irony of him deciding to measure the dimensions only to do so erroneously. Due to the length being 19, the middle block has to be the division point, which he uses black wool for, and after completing the length of 11 using the blue side, Stampy then connects the shape up together, intending for the height of the castle to be eight, additionally intending for each castle to include a stripe of the colour of the other team per each side, which he will explain eventually. Additionally, there will be markers, at which point Stampy assures his viewers that the mini-game is simple.
After marking the middle of the castle, Stampy states that he and L for Leeeee x will build the blue side with Amy Lee33 and LONG bow X99 build the red side, and with the preparations complete, Stampy then counts down to start the quick build, only to be interrupted by the sight of L for Leeeee x on the red side filling in the floor, at which point he ironically tells him to focus in spite of simply filling in the floor, and then actually gives a countdown and starts the competition. Starting, Stampy then sees the stray wolf having decided to investigate present events, thinking him to be curious and deciding to call him Corey in case Stampy tames him. The dimensions of the castle then end up surrounding the wolf, wondering if he regrets investigation.
Continuing to build the castle up, Stampy explains that the process is simple in that it only has to be built upwards, and that he has to add a red strip one block away from the top, as in seven blocks, commending he and his helpers' work building on the way and advising his viewers to use the virtue of competition as a method to urge one's own helpers to work quicker. Counting up six blocks, Stampy tells L for Leeeee x to switch colours on the seventh row, and then turns around upon the alert of water to see the wolf still roaming around, offering to possibly use some bones in order to tame another dog. Stampy remarks that it has been ages since his previous dog. Paying attention to the competition again, Stampy then adds the final straight row after the colour switched stripe, after which he adds the segmented barrier elements to the castle at the very top, completing the blue side of the castle just before the red side of the castle, deeming themselves the winner, though he considers it a draw.
Completing the basic shape, Stampy offers that he and his helpers then proceed to build the interior, which he starts on jumping down and opening a doorway, and then replacing the floor with a black middle row, and the floor matching the walls. While doing so, Stampy is once again greeted by the dog in question, asking his helpers for bones to gather in order to tame whom will be Corey. Trying to find a mini-game relevant to bones, Stampy works out that he hasn't got any, deciding he should visit his house to gather them, meaning that he presently has to trap him in order to them tame him in the next episode. Stampy points out that he has enough dogs as he is and isn't required to tame extra, having decided on taming the one he has found due to how difficult it is to simply leave a dog, considering doing so for Corey in particular because strays usually aren't friendly and don't offer an encounter.
Starting to add the details to the interior, Stampy determines the presence of a boundary, as well as platforms, of which L for Leeeee x is currently building, which is where the players will stand on, with a black wall in the middle including a gap for the fishing rod to enter through to make contact with the pressure plates, and in regard to the pressure plates, they will extend out by three to allow the other person to be pushed off. Stampy wonders to his viewers if his explanation makes some form of sense, as he believes himself to be confusing himself as well. Leveling off the platform as the main area for the pressure plates, filling in the rest of the platform, though not yet adding in the redstone.
Road Hog attempted & The Pretty Duck Fling[]
Upon completion of the platform, Stampy decides he and his helpers should play a mini-game since he has many in Stampy's Funland hardly plays then, deciding to play Road Hog nearby due to not having played it in a while, deciding to show the redstone in the next episode, which he assures his viewers is simple so that the first game can be played. Finding Corey to have escaped due to the door having been left open, Stampy expects to find him around the area eventually, finding him to have been trapped in a pen made by LONG bow X99, to Stampy's surprise, trying to find skeletons around the area only for there to be none. Amy Lee33 additionally having disappeared, Stampy additionally finds her around the area, returning to have tried to find bones for Corey.
Calling his helpers to Road Hog, Stampy decides to stand his pets up and offers that he and L for Leeeee x revive the "Prized Porkers", seeing him continually adding to Flop as it is and deciding to accept it. In the starter round, Stampy offers L for Leeeee x to guide the pig while he rides around, with the opposing team deciding themselves, and he instructs L for Leeeee x to do as intended. He decides to explain the basic idea of the mini-game, with the player riding around on the pig while a player underneath holds out wheat to guide the pig through the opposing team's base to gather levers from the chests in order to return them to the main team side, position them on a highlight of black wool and then pull them down to win, with L for Leeeee x and himself winning together, intending to maintain the streak. However, he sees L for Leeeee x having returned to the top again, to Stampy's confusion. Instructing him to once again return underground as he sees LONG bow X99 playing as a guider, Stampy sees a creeper approaching him and proceeds to kill it in begging and scolding Mittens for failing to scare off the creeper despite being her purpose.
Stampy then decides to start, riding on the pig and opening the entrance, seeing Amy Lee33, one of his opponents, running around on the edge, seeing L for Leeeee x starting the mini-game itself. In spite of his, Stampy wonders if his other helpers are where they should be, uncertain of their current locations as he accepts L for Leeeee x as being the guide. Reaching the first obstacle, the pig then loses interest, returning back, and he starts to move once more, though LONG bow X99 is also interjecting in directing the pig. Continuing to be curious as to Amy Lee33's doing, Stampy asks her what she is doing, as she is wandering around.
With all of his helpers failing to cooperate, Stampy decides to switch the mini-game around instead and offering The Pretty Duck Fling as the alternative, asking everyone to follow him, though cautious due to being open in the darkness. Arriving, Stampy then explains the logic of the mini-game, asking his helpers to gather a fishing rod from the chest as Amy Lee33 proceeds to give Stampy a set of bones to tame Corey with. To set up his players, Stampy instructs them to work in 2v2 with the same teams as the attempted Road Hog game, and then of what to do with the fishing rods, telling them to fling the ducks on their side to the opposite side via the fishing rods, with four being in each half, and the one with the least ducks wins. Setting up a two-minute timer, Stampy gives a countdown and starts the mini-game.
With L for Leeeee x, Stampy urges him to accomplish as planned, instructing his viewers on how to fling a chicken via fishing rod in that the player can step back to accomplish such. He monitors the dividing fence to then find that the chickens aren't actually switching sides, and he attempts to use one of said chickens to make another attempt, then offering L for Leeeee x to catch a chicken each. During the mini-game, however, Stampy ends up catching a fish, to his surprise, since he fails frequently when it comes to actually catching a fish, and he goes to check the amount on the opposing team compared to his own team, finding there to be six chickens on the opposing team's side as Duncan decides to additionally join in, offering him to be on his own side and Mittens to be on the opposing team's side. Stampy then uses the method of bridging around the rim to successfully fling the chicken into the opposing team's side, seeing Amy Lee33 having fallen in, wondering where LONG bow X99 has additionally gone to as well and stating that it is is difficult to get people to focus on the mini-game. Seeing LONG bow X99 also having ended up in the water, Stampy questions the motive in disbelief and then announces that he has managed to remove all of the chickens from his own side, only to find one having been returned to his own, which he easily returns once again as LONG bow X99 suddenly dies from fall damage, to Stampy's entertainment, and he then proceeds to return another chicken back to the opposing team's side as he proceeds to fall down himself, to his surprise. Stampy decides to follow along with this by pretending to be a duck, like Amy Lee33, and the timer along with the round then ends.
Stampy immediately deems it the most unfortunate situation in playing a mini-game, and decides it doesn't matter due to having fun, and additionally having made progress on Flop. He then releases himself, followed by his helpers, from The Pretty Duck Fling, and decides to have an attempt at taming Corey so that he can build Flop in the next episode. Upon return to the expected area, howevr, Stampy ends up finding an explosive hole next to Bouncy Boats, deciding to dismiss it due to it being easily fixed, moving onto actually taming Corey, which he accomplishes successfully in one attempt, after which he deems the end of the episode and ends with the line "Sadly though, we have run out of time here, so I wanna thank you all very much for watching, and I will see you all later. Byeeeee!"
